My Life Project

The My Life Project was one of the most fun projects i have ever worked on. I loved looking back and seeing all of the pictures from when I was a little baby and kid. It was great! I loved picking out music for my project, also. It was challenging to time the music to look cool with the pictures, but I think I did good in the end. One of my favorite part was watching the other projects. It was so cool learning about everyone else's life. There are some very interesting hobbies and interests that kids do and have!

Genome Project

I really liked the music genre project because I was familiar with most of everything I had to do. Something new I learned from this was how to import youtube videos on to iMovie. It was a really fun project to do and I also loved learning about everyone else's genres. My favorite part of this project was picking out music because it's a big interest of mine. I love music and know a lot about hip hop, so it was fun to share with other people where hip hop came from and who's popular in hip hop right now. I would do this project again if I was given the chance. I learned a lot from it. It was kind of like a review project.

zamzar

I thought zamzar was a lot faster at home. I'm kind of surprised that the internet isn't down. I didn't know how long it took for the e mail, but it was a lot faster than it is at school. I took a link of a song called Gettin' Over You by David Guetta. It's a five minute song, which would've taken about 10-15 minutes at school. But at home, it took about 5. I'm going to start using zamzar a lot more at home so i can be ready to work on it at school. This was a good idea, and I am glad I know to convert my songs at home instead of at school.

Speech Presentation

I think us as a group did really well with this project. It wasn't the easiest in the world, but i like a challenge. The hardest part was making the music not as loud as Mr. Mathews voice. We couldn't figure it out for a while, but we finally did. It was good for our group to make decisions and it was a fun challenge to do. My favorite part was picking the music to do for the project. Daylight by Matt & Kim is one of my favorite songs, just because of how cheery it is. I picked Kick, Push by Lupe Fiasco at the end of it because I thought it really went with the Works Cited. Overall this project was a lot of fun, and I'd love to do it again or help someone do it again sometime.

Movie Podcast

I thought the movie podcast was very fun to do, and it got me used to all of the jingles and tracks. I'm getting more and more in tune on how to use iMovie. My favorite part of this project was looking for all of the songs and jingles to put on the project. I thought it was a little difficult to time the picture with the sound. The Work's Cited wasn't too hard to do, and it took me a while to figure out how to play my voice without the jingles going off. Overall, it was a fun project to do.

My Speech Project

I thought the speech powerpoint project was a little challenging, and not very fun. It wasn't that bad, but it was hard to find facts about speech without interviewing Mr. Mathews, the speech teacher. There were so many different pictures on mine, Nicks, and Michaels, so the Works Cited slide was pretty full. I probably wouldn't want to do this project again, but it will be easier once we interview. It will be easier because we will get more facts from someone who actually teaches speech, so we won't have to go to an internet site for it. I'm definately excited to interview.
